Project Free Packs

Turn your extra cards into someone's first pack.

Trading cards have become expensive. Millions of bulk cards sit unused in closets while many kids have never opened a booster pack. Packsmiths build handmade packs from their extras and leave them where kids will find them — completely free.

How it works

  1. Common

    Build

Fill handmade booster packs with the extra cards sleeping in your closet.

  2. Uncommon

    Seal

Use a simple pack maker and printable wrappers to make them feel real.

  3. Rare

    Share

Leave them somewhere they'll brighten someone's day — a Little Free Library, a waiting room, a park.

Found a pack? ❤️

Look for the handle on the back of the wrapper — something like @BluePikachu — and look them up here. A quick thank-you makes a Packsmith's whole week.

Common questions

Is this legal?
Yes. Giving away trading cards you own is just a gift. Packs are never sold, and Project Free Packs isn't affiliated with any game publisher.
Can I use real Pokémon, Magic, or other cards?
That's the whole idea — real cards you already own, headed for a kid who'll love them instead of a box in the closet.
Can I sell these packs?
No. Free means free, always. Selling handmade packs breaks the spirit and the rules of the project.
Are the packs safe for kids?
Keep it simple and safe: cards and paper only, no small toys or candy, and label packs for ages 6 and up. Adults handle all the sharing — kids just get the fun part.
